severyn is an IRC bot that has variable triggers. Each trigger or command is meant to make it easier, or more fun for you the user. All commands ARE available by PM unless specifically noted. Please note that if severyn is not in your channel you cannot use these commands. Don't have severyn and want her in your channel? Something broken or misbehaving? /msg random4t4x14 and let him know :)

What are the commands available for use with severyn?

   !8ball <question>; ex. !8ball Will I ever get laid?



Announcements Having an event and want to set an announcement for it? Announcement to the rescue! 

   !an on / !an off; Turns the announcement system on or off.
   !an add <announcement>; ex. !an add Gaming event starting at such and such date
   !an list; Lists current announcements for the channel.
   !an del <number>; Delete an announcement; ex. !an del 8

Only channel ops may use these commands. Announcements will be made every 90 minutes, and if you have multiple announcements saved, a random announcement will be displayed.



Channel Stats Want to see how much you contribute to the channel, or do you want to know who has the most kicks in your channel? Channel stats are for you! (You must specify nick; #channel is optional. Please note that these commands are NOT available via PM, you must use them in channel)

Per User Stats - 

   !rank <nick> <option> [#chan]; ex. !rank ARGuest words #arg-irc
   !stats <nick> [#chan]; ex. !stats ARGuest #arg-irc

Channel Stats - 

   !top10 <option> [#chan]; ex. !top10 kicks #arg-irc
   !top20 <option> [#chan]; ex. !top20 actions #arg-irc
   !tstats [#chan]; ex. !tstats #arg-irc

Options are: lines, words, actions, kicks, bans, joins, parts, splits, quits, nicks (nick changes)



Define Heard a word and don't know what it means? Someone use a word and you're not sure it applies? Check it's definition! 

   !define or !dict [<noun/verb/adjective/adverb>] [<number of results start-end>] <word> <tag to search for>;
   ex. !define verb 2-3 stabbing or !dict nystagmus



Google Google's great, but how do you share your results without all the copy / pasta hassle? You want one of these:

Quotes Our own little bash, make em good, and make em count, otherwise they might get wiped out ;) 

   !addquote <quote> : To add a quote.
   !quote <quote number> [#chan] : To display a quote. 
   !quoteinfo <quote number> [#chan] : To display information about a given quote.    
   !delquote <quote number> : To delete a quote.    
   !randquote [#chan] : To display a random quote.    
   !lastquote [#chan] : To display the last quote.    
   !findquote [-all/#chan] <search argument(s)> : To look for a quote.

Put some quotation marks around your search arguments to look for an exact match. Use the -all option to do a global search in every channel's databases OR specify a #channel



Seen Looking for someone or want to know when they were on a channel last? How about the last time someone said something? Just use !seen or !lastspoke (If you do not specify a channel, all channels severyn is on will be searched)

Basic Commands -

To search in public chat: 

   !lastspoke <nick> [#chan]; ex. !lastspoke ARGuest #arg-irc
   !seen <nick> [#chan]; ex. !seen ARGuest

To search in a private messsage: 

   seen <nick> [#chan]; ex. /msg severyn seen ARGuest #arg-irc

Timebomb Whether it's for boredom or for fun timebomb is great, it almost can't be won >:D (Please note that just typing "timebomb" without a nick defined will cause the bot to timebomb you)

   cutwire colorname; ex. cutwire Magenta



TinyURL/XRL Got an annoyingly long URL to paste? Wanna trick people into clicking your link? You'll <3 TinyURL as much as we do

Weather You know it's cold, but how cold exactly? And for that matter is it going to snow tomorrow?

Wiki Link Sometimes it's a pain to open a browser and search Wikipedia, use this trigger to make it much easier
